On Main Street in Tazewell Virginia, Painted Peak Brewing Company hosted their first “Thawfest” Saturday, April 21st. This festival was a great opportunity to celebrate winter ending with some great beer, food, and music.
A few members of Blue Ridge Report including myself, attended the first annual “Thawfest” which is a music/beer festival that is located in Tazewell Virginia, right in front of Painted Peak Brewing Co. Thanks to the kindness of Painted Peak’s Owner/CEO Dave Blankenship we were able to capture our interviews with some of the bands inside of the “Tap House” where the incredible tasting Painted Peak beer is crafted.
Below you can find our Video Interviews with two of the bands that played at this years Thawfest “Black Garlic” and “The Kind Thieves”.
The Kind Thieves-
Here is a special video presentation from CEO Dave Blankenship on how Painted Peak crafts their beer.
We at Blue Ridge Report strongly encourage everyone in the area to attend next year’s Thawfest and any upcoming events that will be hosted by Painted Peak Brewing Co. Find any information about Painted Peak at paintedpeakbrewing.com or on Facebook and Instagram.
